Who we are

Potty With Purpose™ was born from the belief that toileting doesn’t have to be a battle, and that babies are capable of so much more than we often assume. We’re here to normalize early toileting, build communication around elimination, and help families approach potty learning in a calmer, more connected way.

Our founder, Cassie Dollard, is a pediatric nurse, first-time mom, and advocate for early elimination communication. After introducing the potty to her daughter at 7 months old, she quickly saw how exposure, routine, and communication transformed what most parents view as a stressful milestone into a simple part of the day.

Potty With Purpose™ exists to fill a gap. In Western culture, toileting has shifted later and later, often becoming a source of resistance for toddlers and frustration for caregivers. Our approach offers a gentle alternative — one rooted in observation, communication, and exposure before independence is expected.

We’re here to show parents that there is another way. Babies can participate. Toileting can be familiar—not feared. And potty learning can be something your child grows into instead of fights against.

We believe early toileting is an act of respect, attunement, and empowerment — not pressure. And we’re excited to help you experience it firsthand.
